Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes how Convex S.A.C. ("Convex," "we," "us," or "our") handles refunds for paid subscriptions to the Service available at convex.ltd and app.convex.ltd. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to this Policy, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.
1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid subscriptions, both monthly and annual. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 calendar days of your initial paid purchase.
The guarantee applies to:
- Investor ($9/month or $79/year): refundable within 30 days of first payment.
- Pro ($19/month or $159/year): refundable within 30 days of first payment.
The Free plan is not subject to this Policy because no payment is made.
2. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund within the 30-day window, contact us at hello@convex.ltd with:
- The email address associated with your Convex account.
- The approximate date of purchase.
- A brief reason for the refund (optional, but helps us improve).
We aim to process refund requests within 5 business days of receipt. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at purchase.
3. Refunds After the 30-Day Window
3.1 Monthly Subscriptions
After the initial 30-day window, monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again.
3.2 Annual Subscriptions
After the initial 30-day window, annual subscriptions are generally non-refundable. However, if you cancel before the end of the annual term, you may request a pro-rated refund for the remaining unused months by contacting hello@convex.ltd. Pro-rated refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are discretionary.
4. Renewal Refunds
Subscriptions automatically renew at the start of each billing cycle. If you are charged for a renewal you no longer want, contact us within 14 days of the renewal date at hello@convex.ltd and we will issue a full refund for the renewal charge, provided you have not used the Service materially after renewal. To avoid unwanted renewals, cancel via your account settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
5. Exceptions and Limitations
We reserve the right to deny refund requests that show evidence of:
- Abuse of the refund policy (for example, repeated subscribe-refund cycles by the same user or related accounts).
- Violation of our Terms of Service (for example, automated scraping, account sharing, or chargebacks filed without first contacting support).
- Refund requests submitted more than 30 days after the initial purchase that do not qualify under Section 3 or 4.
6. Statutory Rights
This Policy does not limit any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction. For customers in the European Union, the 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services applies in addition to the 30-day guarantee described above, subject to the consumer expressly consenting to immediate access to the Service.
7. Payment Processor
Payments are processed by our payment service provider (currently Paddle), which acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, tax, and the issuing of refunds on our behalf. Refunds appear on your statement under the Paddle descriptor.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following at least 30 days' notice by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. Refund requests are governed by the version of this Policy in effect at the time of your purchase.
